After using it for a while I have the following comments on the AD407 Pro:

1) You should supply a lens cap to protect the microscope when not in use.

2) Having the display and the microscope body together can be a problem, as using the buttons on the display shakes the microscope. It would be much better if the two were physically separate, connected by a cable. That would also allow the microscope to be moved and tilted in different axes.

3) The longer stand column is good but I do not see any point in having a separate height adjusting mechanism on the beam, especially as it only has limited range. There is already height adjustment on the column. I think you can simplify the entire beam assembly to make the unit simpler.

4) The bigger baseplate on the Pro model is Ok, but the baseplate is still quite small and should be even bigger to accommodate normal sized PCBs. Maybe it could be made in sections if transport box size is a problem.

5) The LED lamps are good, but as they always need to point down toward the PCB, why not make the head 90 degrees to the neck? That would also provide more flexibility in position as flexible length is lost at the moment in curving the lamp around to point downwards.
